What condition will the car be in?
The vehicles we offer have been inspected and, if necessary, refurbished. They are all in good condition but might have minor areas of damage such as a small scratch or scuffed alloy wheel. Such minor damage is far from uncommon on used vehicles and each vehicle is priced accordingly.
Is there a delivery charge?
No, delivery to any Great Britain mainland location is included free of charge.
How long will I have to wait to receive my Re-Lease car?
The process should take less than two weeks from the point you confirm the order to vehicle delivery.
Will I own the vehicle at the end of the lease?
No, this is a contract hire agreement and Arval will own the vehicle throughout. At the end of the contract term we will come and collect it from you.
What documents will I have to sign?
You will need to sign a contract, an order form and complete a Direct Debit mandate. You will need to tell us on the Direct Debit mandate on which date of the month you want the money to be taken.
Can I choose how long to lease the vehicle for?
Yes - we offer a choice of 12,24 and 36 month contracts to choose from.
How many upfront payments do I have to pay?
You have the choice of paying one, three, six or nine initial payments. The more you pay upfront, the lower your monthly rental.
How will I be billed?
We will bill you through a monthly invoice which will be sent to you on the first of each month. We can provide you with online invoicing alongside or to replace paper invoicing.
Who is responsible for maintenance?
You are responsible for the maintenance of the vehicle in line with manufacturer standards but we offer a range of fixed price maintenance options including our Arval Total Care package which comes with third party liability insurance and own damage protection including fire and theft.
Will I need to get an MOT for the vehicle?
Yes – when your leased vehicle turns three years old, it becomes your responsibility to take it for an MOT regardless of the maintenance package you have taken. We will send you an MOT reminder in plenty of time before it’s due.
How will fair wear and tear be managed at the end of my contract?
Your vehicle will have photos taken just before it’s delivered to you and taken again when it’s collected at the end of your contract. Fair wear and tear will only be charged on any damage caused during the period of your lease which falls outside of the standards specified by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA).
Will I be credit checked?
Yes, we perform a credit check prior to signing of the contract as well as a customer due diligence check.
